News & Updates from the Show Scene

What we've been up to ...

April - Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed for Hillary at the Red Deer and District Kennel Club Show, handled by our good friend, Tammy Sawatsky.  Hillary also took First in Class in Puppy Sweeps for a little cash prize in Tammy's pocket. Sweeps are always fun!

March - Hillary and littermate sister, Tweed, both attended the Prince Albert Kennel Club show and came home with fabulous results!  Hillary went Best of Breed twice, Select Bitch twice, picked up a Group Third and Puppy Group win, and topped off her weekend with a Reserve Best Puppy in Show!  Tweed one-upped her sister by taking Winners Bitch in four out of six shows, a Group Third and Group Second, and Puppy Group win, and the icing on her dog biscuit was winning BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!  Total it up and at 9.5 months old, Tweed finished her Canadian Championship her first weekend out!

January - Hillary had a fabulous time at the first show of 2019 with two Best of Breed wins over male Specials, two Winners Bitch and Best of Winners wins for two 4-point Majors each, three Best Puppy in Breed wins, and her first BEST PUPPY IN GROUP win!  It was a very busy, long weekend for her and she showed her heart out for me!  Add these wins to her Best of Winners from Regina in December 2018, and this little lady has finished her Canadian Championship in short order with all Majors!  So excited for her promising future!

Scotia and Hillary have both started Rally Novice classes and should be ready to begin trialing in the Spring.

PUPPIES have been confirmed for PRIM, due toward the end of March.  See our Litters page for details.
